Massachusetts General Hospital ranked 8th in the survey released this week, and Brigham and Women's Hospital came in at 14th.
The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, and NYU Langone Hospitals in New York finished first, second, and third, respectively.
The list was generated off several elements like how well patients fared after treatment, the hospitals staffing levels, quality of patient care, and how well the facilities performed. Those were graded and the top scoring hospitals made the list.
